Piedmont Strings Services
Piedmont Strings strives to make your wedding or special event as personalized as possible Here is a list of different string ensembles. At each wedding we will play 30 minutes of prelude music as people are walking into the ceremony to find their seats. We will supply all music for the ceremony, and a recessional song as people are leaving the ceremony. Once you decide what type of ensemble you want, there is a $100 deposit (goes towards your final balance) and a $35 administration fee.
String Quartet
A string quartet consists of 2 violins, 1 viola, and 1 cello. This is the most common and ideal combination. It will project the most sound and is very appropriate for larger venues.

String Trio
A string trio consists of 2 violinists and a cellist. This combination will creates a great sound and is still appropriate for larger venues as well as smaller ones.
$975 for 2024 weddings within a 45 minute radius of downtown Atlanta

String Duo
A string duo consists of either 2 violinists, or a violinist and a cellist. This is perfect for a smaller venue while still creating beautiful harmonies.
$700 for 2024 weddings within a 45 minute radius of downtown Atlanta
Prices start at $750 for 2024 weddings outside of a 45 minute radius of downtown Atlanta
Solo String Instrument - Ceremony Only
For smaller weddings choose your favorite instrument: Violin, Viola, or Cello. We will send a soloist from one of the instruments listed above to play all of your favorite songs solo.
$300 for 2024 weddings within a 45 minute radius of downtown Atlanta

Piano Soloist (If available)

Our pianist is able to bring an electric keyboard for an additional fee of $50 if there is not a piano available at your venue.
Cocktail Hour Music Upgrade
We are available to play during your cocktail hour as well. Pro-rating for 45 or 30 minutes is available. $75 per Piedmont Strings member per hour when following a wedding ceremony.

Amplification Package Upgrade
Amplification package consist of pickups for all piedmont strings performers, speaker system and setup. This package is ideal for outdoor ceremonies, cocktail hour, receptions, events with large guest counts, etc. The cost of this upgrade is $350.
Custom Musical Arrangement Upgrade
We have a very extensive repertoire list. If you would like a song played at your wedding that is not on our list and we cannot find sheet music for it, we charge a $75 custom arrangement fee per song.
Canopy Tent (for extremely hot, or wet weather)
Direct sunlight can damage our expensive instruments (broken seams, cracked wood, broken strings, etc.) If your ceremony is in a sunny location we will need something to provide us with shade so we can keep our instruments safe (a tree providing shade will be sufficient.)
In addition, our instruments cannot be exposed to water (rain, fountains, or extreme humidity.) Some sort of covering is necessary if there is a risk of rain (a porch, gazebo, roof, tent, overhang, etc will be acceptable.)
We will provide a suitable tent for any outdoor wedding that does not have proper rain and/or sunlight coverage for $65.00. Please indicate whether you want this service and it will be added to your final balance.
